Focus on what you can do right and why they are saying no

Let’s face it, were out there selling and we believe we aren’t doing a thing right. Sound familiar? the mass majority of sales people are imaginary creatures. We think BIG ! this is good to start, however needs to be carried on throughout our career as a door knocker. Door knocking success comes from gradual progression. Did you know that a recent study shoes that a goldfish has a longer attention span than a human being these days. This does not mean a goldfish is smarter than us, it only means our attention span has decreased to the point where we want it NOW ! Our brain has been reprogrammed to get the end result we are seeking INSTANTLY with all the new technology that is out there.

So what are some of the things that you can do right in order to increase your sales. Here is a short list:

  1. Wake Up To What Makes You Happy.
  2. Have your Yearly, Monthly, Weekly Daily Sales Goals Easily Accessible.
  3. Exercise In The Morning, Pushing Yourself.
  4. Stop The Negative Thoughts Of The Results You Don’t Yet Have.
  5. Work on Your Communication Skills.
  6. Study My Blog Posts And YouTube Videos.
  7. Throw Giving Up As An Option Out.

Next I want to talk to you about why they are saying NO to you at the doors:

  1. They Don’t Trust You.
  2. You Sound Scripted.
  3. You Are Uncomfortable At The Door.
  4. Your Uncertain You Will Get A Sale.
  5. Your Not Being AssumptiveĀ To Get To The Next Step.
  6. Your Just There To Try The Job Out And Hope It Works.
  7. Your Uncertain About What You Are Selling.

If you understand why they are telling you know, its not enough. You must take action in correcting what your doing wrong and focus more on what you can do right. My blog, my video series and my door to door mastery program will all help you over come this but you have to be willing to put the time into researching it. Many sales people I talk to on a daily basis need to work on their people skills. This new generation is terrible at understanding human needs. “Hey Whats Up” is not a way to speak to a potential client who does not know who you are. If you are willing to change the way you communicate with people, you can grab hold of the number of sales you close. I need you to start thinking, and acting like a professional business person. Get out of the broke mentality and respect your life. When you walk around in public, open the door for people and be the first to break out of being shy and start a random conversation. Get better at this. Always remember you didn’t learn to walk over night. Gradually you got better and the same shall it be with door to door sales.

Bottom line is give yourself 1 year of using your all to really master the art of door to door sales. There are many things you can do to get better. In this blog post I listed many ways. Sad part is most of you will just read this and carry on, while the select few will actually trust in my teachings and actually change their life. Im here to help.   1. This is some very great door to door advice. I have been in the door to door industry for almost 8 years when I have applied myself and wanted something I have gotten it. I started out with Kirby by my second mo I was the top sales person in the division, I wasn’t happy with that I had just started so I decided I decided I wanted to be the top sales person in the united stats I did that. Every single day I wrote down the objections I was here and I wrote down 5 questions a night after work that I thought might eliminate the objection before it presented itself and then had my sales manager go over them and a lot of them where good and, of course, some where not good, but I did that ever single day for 6mos. By the end of that time there wasn’t one thing I didn’t have a rebuttal for other than over course opticals and even them I ended up getting to be good at getting around. my 6-year close Avg was 1 out of 1.75 not the best mouth but that’s what it came out to be also I had the highest Avg selling price. I was promoted to area distributor by 10 most in the bis I was only 19 by end of the first year i was an FD they said i was the fastest and youngest promoted person in the 96 years they had been in bis……. I got out of that company for may reasons one i grew up and realized that i wasn’t saying something that for the price really i could fill good about not to mention when i start full price was 2169 + tax it is no over 4000 and nothing has change for what the distributor buys them for and they wanted all manager and owner to do the same and cut there door to door reps pay i couldn’t do that so i got out and sold cars insurance and yea ill over everything. I JUST GOT OFFER A PASSION CREATING A DOOR TO DOOR PROGRAM FOR A COMPANY THAT IS A VERY WELL KNOW ONE AND IS AMAZING COMPANY. BUT SEEMS THERE ISNT ANY AT ALL INFO ON HOW TO ABOUT DOING IT DOOR TO DOOR IM PRETTY MUCH FIGURING OUT DAY BY DAY AND FOR FIRST 5 DAYS KNOCKING 17 SALES NOT BAD FOR ME THOUGH I KNOW I CAN SALE 8-10 A DAY ONCE I PERFECT IT. My problem is the installer company who gave me this opportunity has no ideal what he is doing and was supposed to let me run it but he is clueless so he had his own thought and doesn’t understand or want to listen to me on what door to door is.
    FOR EXAMPLE, I DIDNT HAVE A 2ND SALE AND I KNOCKED MYSELF BACK IN AT 845PM AND HE TOLD ME HE DIDNT NO WHY I WAS EVEN KNOCKING AFTER 5 PM> I NO CRAZY I TOLD HIM FOR ANY DOOR TO DOOR SALE PERSON AFTER 5 WHEN PEOPLE ARE HOW IS PRIME TIME AND TOLD ME NO WAY IT 11 AM TO 1 PM AND ALSO HE IS NOT ANSWERING PHONE WHEN I CALL TO GET PEOPLE APPROVED AND ALSO IS NOT ANSWERING MY PHONE CALLS SO I CAN KEEP CUSTOMERS INFORMED AND I AM LOOSING SALES IF YOU CAN GIVE ME ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO GET THREW TO HIM THAT IF HE DOESNT LET ME START THIS RIGHT AND HE PLANS ON HIGHERING MORE SALES PEOPLE THEY WILL NOT ONLY NOT LAST BUT STARVE EXSPESSILY IF THEY DONT HAVE THE TALENT I DO WITCH I HAVNT RAN INTO MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE HALF THAT WHY IM ONLY LOOKING FOR THE BEST LET ME NO ANYTHING WOULD HELP THANKS SO MUCH DOOR TO DOOR MAN KYLE E-MAil is pearsonXXXX
